Tiny Town Vaughan is a children’s imaginative play centre located in the GTA. They run drop-in play times and host birthday parties, events, and school trips.
Tiny Town Vaughan came to us as a new business looking to grow revenue. They needed to attract new visitors and expand on their current programs quickly.
They had started social media channels on their own but as a small organization they were finding it difficult to update as frequently as they knew they needed to while also running the day-to-day business. Their website contained a lot of information but it wasn’t easy to navigate or visually appealing.
Drop-in play and event revenue was starting to rise but they were plateauing on party and school trip revenue. Tiny Town Vaughan needed to increase awareness and engagement so they could then educate on their services.
The first thing we did was meet with Tiny Town Vaughan to really understand their business in-depth. We explored all of their communication platforms, dug into their current brand standards and reputation, discussed their competitors, questioned their areas of discomfort, and asked many questions about where they want to see themselves in the future and what their business needed to see quick, increased revenue.
We looked at the different revenue sources they had coming in and saw that day-to-day sales were on target. What they needed was a way to build business that a) increased awareness b) brought in larger revenue than individual ticket sales and c) helped establish them as an educational learning and play centre.
We developed a tiered marketing plan for Tiny Town Vaughan to maximize their marketing budget while also hitting all three goals (awareness, larger revenue, and established). We took their limited people resources into account and made sure our suggested strategies were manageable and didn’t put strain on the business. Their budget could only cover some third-party services, so we wanted to create a plan that they could work on internally as well.
This was the cornerstone of the services we delivered to Tiny Town Vaughan. We created a comprehensive and multi-platform strategic, integrated marketing plan to help direct of all our marketing efforts. We outlined the strategies and tactics needed to grow the business quickly.
Tiny Town Vaughan was able to leverage aspects of this plan on their own as well, reducing their costs. The plan was developed in a way that both 3Squarez Media and Tiny Town Vaughan could be working on tactics that moved them closer to the end goal.
Tiny Town Vaughan needed a more clear, concise and easy-to-navigate website with lots of visuals so parents could get a good idea of what was offered by the play place.
We worked on establishing a strong, website architecture and digitized solutions such as forms and inquiry platforms to help make the business process less manual and free up people resources. We digitized the play waiver which not only eliminated a lot of paperwork but also created a digital mailing list to be used as a database for their monthly newsletter and was a better customer experience, especially for returning guests.
Tiny Town Vaughan had hosted some school trips but were struggling to book more. They didn’t have contacts inside the neighbouring school boards, daycares or camps and needed to find a way to educate them on what the Town could offer.
We created a series of communication materials that the Town could leverage to reach out to new organizations that were targeted to their key audiences.
Tiny Town Vaughan has seen tremendous growth in the last six months. They are completely booked for school trips until the next school year, host multiple birthday parties every weekend. They have seen a dramatic increase in their drop-in play, and growth in event sales.
Their social media reach has increased by 32% on Instagram and 13% on Facebook. They have 6+ fresh social media posts a week which is resulted in an increase of 480% web traffic over the last six months.
More people are coming in the door daily and the Town is able to forecast future business better. We fulfilled all three business goals and increased revenue – and that was just in the first six months working together!
